Albuquerque, NM - Injuries in Collision at I-40 & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (November 23, 2024) – On Saturday, November 23, there were confirmed injuries resulting from a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The accident was reported that morning, around 7:02 a.m., at the intersection of Interstate 40 WB near San Mateo Boulevard SE. At least one person involved in the crash was injured, but the severity and number of resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. 

Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the injured parties. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the road of any resulting debris. No updates on the accident have been provided at this time.
