Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Collision at I-40 & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (January 14, 2025) – On Monday, January 13, there were reported injuries after a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The accident was reported early that morning around 10:50 a.m. on Interstate 40 WB near San Mateo Boulevard NE. At least one person involved in the crash sustained injuries, and emergency crews were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided, and no additional information on the crash is currently available.
