Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Collision at Wyoming Blvd & I-40

Albuquerque, NM (July 16, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following a collision in the Albuquerque area on Monday, July 15. The accident took place on Wyoming Boulevard NE near the Interstate 40 EB on-ramp late that night around 10:22 p.m. At least one person involved sustained injuries, and emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render the necessary medical aid. 

The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics before being transferred to a local hospital for further treatment. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the road of the resulting wreckage and other debris.  Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation, and more information will be released as the investigation continues.
