Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Crash at Edith Blvd & Ave Cesar Chavez

Albuquerque, NM (September 9, 2024) – At least one person was hurt in the aftermath of an Albuquerque car crash at the corner of Edith Boulevard SE and Avenida Cesar Chavez SE on Sunday, September 8. The accident was first reported that evening around 6:39 p.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties. 

The crash victims were provided medical aid at the scene, and those requiring further treatment were transferred by ambulance to local hospitals. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No updates on the crash are currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
