Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Crash at I-40 & I-25 Frontage Rd

Albuquerque, NM (August 1, 2024) – On Wednesday, July 31 , there were reported injuries after a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision took place on Interstate 40 WB near Interstate 25 Frontage Road that evening, around 6:33 p.m. At least one person involved in the suffered injuries. 

Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the involved parties. The severity of the related damages was not included in local reports. The crash victims were later transferred to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Local authorities advised nearby drivers to avoid the scene and to prepare for delays while emergency responders were present. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
