Albuquerque, NM - Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash at I-40 & Coors Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (March 6, 2024) - On Tuesday, March 5, there were reported injuries after a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash was reported on Interstate 40 WB near Coors Boulevard at around 2:25 p.m. Three or more vehicles were involved in the accident. 

Local reports revealed that two drivers were traveling at high speeds when they caused the accident. A chain-reaction crash resulted, and emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene. The driver responsible for the incident reportedly fled the scene. 

The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel. The area was temporarily closed until the resulting wreckage was cleared. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
