Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Wreck on Townsend Ave

Albuquerque, NM (January 22, 2025) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Tuesday, January 21. The accident happened at the 908 block of Townsend Avenue SW that afternoon around 12:51 p.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties, and those requiring additional support were later hospitalized. 

Currently, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The circumstances leading to the crash were not included in the initial reports. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic.
