Albuquerque, NM – Injury Car Accident at I-25 & Candelaria Rd

Albuquerque, NM (December 10, 2024) – At least one person suffered injuries in a car wreck in the Albuquerque area early on Tuesday, December 10. Early that morning around 9:45 a.m., the collision occurred on Interstate 25 SB near Candelaria Road NE. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

The area was temporarily closed while emergency units were present. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to local hospitals for additional aid. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the resulting debris and reopen the site to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials. More information will be provided as it continues.
