Albuquerque, NM - Injury Car Accident at I-25 & Lomas Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (January 5, 2024) - On Friday, January 5, at least one person suffered injuries in an auto accident in Albuquerque, and emergency responders were dispatched to render the necessary medical aid. The incident was first reported early that morning at around 7:40 a.m. on Interstate 25 NB near Lomas Boulevard NE. There were reported injuries at the scene, but the extent of the related damages has not been confirmed. 

The crash victims were later transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment after being treated at the scene by attending medical personnel. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No further information on the crash is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation, and more updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
