Albuquerque, NM – Injury Car Accident at I-40 & 12th St

Albuquerque, NM (October 18, 2024) – At least one person suffered injuries following an auto accident in the Albuquerque area on Friday, October 18. Early that morning around 1:43 a.m., the collision occurred on Interstate 40 EB near 12th Street NW. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties, and ambulances were available to transport the accident victims to local hospitals for additional support. 

The roadway was temporarily shut down as emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined thus far, and no further updates have been provided. However, local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
