Albuquerque, NM – Injury Car Crash at Hermosa Dr & Coal Ave

Albuquerque, NM (August 3, 2024) – On Friday, August 2, there were reported injuries following a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision was reported late that evening around 11:19 p.m. at the corner of Hermosa Drive SE and Coal Avenue SE. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the severity and number of resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. 

Emergency responders were present to render aid to the injured parties, and those requiring additional treatment were later hospitalized for further treatment. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
