Albuquerque, NM – Injury-Causing Car Accident at Buena Vista Dr & Coal Ave

Albuquerque, NM (April 18, 2023) – A car crash involving a police vehicle resulted in injuries on Monday, April 17, in the Albuquerque area. 

At around 10:52 p.m., the collision took place at the intersection of Buena Vista Drive and Coal Avenue. Initial reports indicated that the crash involved a police officer. At least one person was hurt and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The roadway was closed for several hours until tow trucks were able to clear the resulting debris.

Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
