Albuquerque, NM – Injury Collision at Central Ave & Rio Grande Blvd
Albuquerque, NM (December 20, 2024) – On Friday, December 20, at least one person sustained injuries after an auto accident in the Albuquerque area. That morning around 7:44 a.m., the collision was first reported at the crossing of Central Avenue SW and Rio Grande Boulevard SE. Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties.
Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for further treatment. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. The site was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic.
