Albuquerque, NM – Injury Crash at Ave Cesar Chavez & University Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (May 30, 2024) – On Thursday, May 30, there were reported injuries resulting from a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision took place that morning around 8:14 a.m. at the intersection of Avenida Cesar Chavez SE and University Boulevard SE. Attending medical personnel treated the injured parties at the scene. 

There were reported injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. The crash victims were later transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment. No updates on the conditions of the crash victims have been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the crash site and reopen the road to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
