Albuquerque, NM - Injury Crash Closes Montgomery Blvd at Washington St

Albuquerque, NM (May 2, 2025) - On Friday, May 2, at least one person sustained injuries after an auto accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash happened at the corner of Montgomery Boulevard and Washington Street that morning at around 2 a.m. Partial lanes were closed as a result of the crash. 

Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. The injured parties were aided at the scene by attending medical personnel. A sport utility vehicle at the scene sustained significant damage to the rear, and there was debris across the roadway. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The site was later reopened at around 5:30 a.m. At this time, no updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been released. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
