Albuquerque, NM - Injury Motorcycle Crash on Menaul Blvd & Dakota St

Albuquerque, NM (July 23, 2024) - A motorcyclist was hurt after a car accident in the Albuquerque area on Monday, July 22. The incident was reported on Menaul Boulevard between Dakota Street and Florida Street near the Coronado Mall early that morning around 11:40 a.m. A pickup truck and a motorcycle reportedly collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. The injured rider was treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to the University of New Mexico Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The rider sustained internal injuries. The pickup driver remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
