Albuquerque, NM – Injury Wreck at Rio Grande Blvd & Aspen Ave

Albuquerque, NM (October 22, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries resulting from a car accident in the Albuquerque area on Tuesday, October 22. The crash was reported early that morning around 12:14 p.m. at the intersection of Rio Grande Boulevard NW and Aspen Avenue NW. At least one person suffered injuries in the collision. 

The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. Emergency crews were dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for further treatment. At this time, the circumstances leading to the accident have not been provided. The roadway was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to clear the road of the resulting wreckage and other debris. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
