Albuquerque, NM – Lead Ave & Vassar Dr Crash Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (September 2, 2024) – At least one person suffered injuries following an auto accident in the Albuquerque area on Monday, September 2. At around 12:11 p.m., the crash occurred at the corner of Lead Avenue SE and Vassar Drive SE. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties, and ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for additional support. 

The roadway was temporarily shut down as emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. No further updates have been provided. Local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
