Albuquerque, NM - Major Injury Car Crash at 98th St & Sage Rd

Albuquerque, NM (March 22, 2025) - At least one person suffered injuries following a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Saturday, March 22. Early that morning at around 6:04 a.m., the accident took place at the corner of 98th Street SW and Sage Road SW. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and emergency responders were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The roadway was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local authorities.
