Albuquerque, NM – Major Injuries in Crash at I-40 & Eubank Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (August 13, 2024) – On Tuesday, August 13, there were reported injuries after a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision occurred that morning around 5:09 a.m. on Interstate 40 WB near Eubank Boulevard NE. All eastbound lanes were closed while emergency crews worked the scene. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The crash victims were later dispatched to a local hospital for further treatment. The circumstances leading to the accident were not reported in the initial reports. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
