Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Car Wreck at I-40 & University Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (January 13, 2025) – At least one person was hurt following an auto accident in the Albuquerque area on Monday, January 13. The collision occurred early that morning around 9:04 a.m. on Interstate 40 NB near University Boulevard NE. Attending medical personnel provided aid to the injured parties. 

The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further support. The circumstances leading to the accident have not yet been reported. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting debris to reopen the road to outside traffic.
