Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Collision at Central Ave & 136th St

Albuquerque, NM (July 22, 2024) – A car accident with injuries was reported in the Albuquerque area on Sunday, July 21. The collision took place at the corner of Central Avenue NW and 136th Street NW late that night around 11:28 p.m. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. 

At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for further support. The area was temporarily closed while local officials worked to clear the scene. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris in order to reopen the road to outside traffic. No further updates on the accident are currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
