Albuquerque, NM - Major Injury Car Wreck on Sawtooth St

Albuquerque, NM (June 3, 2024) - A serious car accident in Albuquerque on Monday, June 3, required support from local paramedics. The collision occurred at the 405 block of Sawtooth Street SE that afternoon around 1:26 p.m. Attending medical personnel provided immediate aid to the injured parties. 

The injured parties were later transferred to nearby hospitals for additional support after being treated at the scene by responding paramedics. At this time, the number and severity of the related damages have not been confirmed. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were dispatched to clear the scene, remove the resulting debris, and reopen the roadway. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
