Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Collision at I-25 & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (October 3, 2023) – On Tuesday, October 3, a car accident with injuries took place in the Albuquerque area. 

At around 6:34 a.m., the accident was first reported on Interstate 25 SB near Central Avenue SE. The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics, and initial reports indicated that at least one person involved was hurt. The extent of those injuries has not yet been determined. 

The wreckage resulting from the collision caused the roadway to be closed for several hours. The injured parties were later hospitalized for further treatment. No updates on the conditions of the crash victims have been provided at this time. 

Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation, and additional information will be provided as the investigation continues.
