Albuquerque, NM - Major Injury Collision at I-40 & 6th St

Albuquerque, NM (November 21, 2024) – On Thursday, November 21, injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision in Albuquerque. That morning, around 6:45 a.m., the accident occurred on Interstate 40 EB near 6th Street NW. Two or more vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. 

At least one person involved was hurt, and emergency responders were sent to render aid to the involved parties. Ambulances were used to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for further treatment. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. The roadway was closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris from the scene. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
