High-Speed Collisions in New Mexico
It is well known that speeding plays a major role in causing catastrophic auto accidents. Drivers in New Mexico frequently speed behind the wheel. In fact, data indicates that speeding drivers are to blame for more than 37 percent of fatal crashes in the state. Over 10,000 people lose their lives in high-speed collisions every year in the United States, and over one-third of traffic deaths have been linked to speeding during the previous 20 years. Speeding reduces a driver’s ability to respond to potential dangers on the road and maintain control of their automobile to prevent potentially fatal collisions.
