Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Collision at MLK Ave & Walter St

Albuquerque, NM (July 31, 2024) – On Tuesday, July 30, a car crash in Albuquerque resulted in confirmed injuries. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at the corner of Martin Luther King Avenue NE and Walter Street NE that evening, around 9:15 p.m. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. 

The accident victims were provided aid by attending medical personnel. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for additional treatment. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. Tow trucks were needed to clear the scene and reopen the roadway to outside traffic.
