Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Crash at Charleston St & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (July 1, 2024) – On Monday, July 1, there were confirmed injuries resulting from a car accident in the Albuquerque area. Early that morning around 12:30 a.m., the collision happened at the corner of Charleston Street NE and Central Avenue NE. At least one person involved was hurt, but the severity and number of resulting injuries have not yet been determined. 

The crash victims were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment. At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been made public. The roadway was temporarily closed while paramedics were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the scene and reopen the road to outside traffic.
