Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Crash at Chelwood Park Blvd & Candelaria Rd

Albuquerque, NM (January 14, 2025) – On Monday, January 13, injuries were reported after a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The accident took place at around 5:38 p.m. at the corner of Chelwood Park Boulevard NE and Candelaria Road NE. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt. 

At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to provide aid to the involved parties. The victims requiring additional treatment were later transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
