Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Crash at Griegos Rd & Rio Grande Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (June 5, 2024) – On Tuesday, June 4, there were reported injuries after a collision in the Albuquerque area. The accident occurred at the crossing of Griegos Road NW and Rio Grande Boulevard NW late that night around 9:53 p.m. At least one person at the scene suffered injuries in the wreck. 

The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. Emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No further information on the accident is currently available. At present, local law enforcement officials are conducting an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
