Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Wreck at I-25 & Montano Rd

Albuquerque, NM (November 19, 2024) – On Tuesday, November 19 there were reported injuries after a car accident in Albuquerque. The collision was first reported that morning around 4:30 a.m. on Interstate 25 SB near Montano Road NE. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, and emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render the necessary medical aid. 

Those requiring additional treatment were later hospitalized. The roadway was temporarily closed while paramedics were present, and tow trucks were later sent to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. No additional information has been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress, and more information will be provided as it progresses.
