Albuquerque, NM - Major Pileup Injury Car Accident at I-25 & Lomas Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (August 25, 2023) - There were reported injuries after a multi-vehicle collision that took place in Albuquerque on Friday morning, August 25. 

The incident was first reported at around 6:38 a.m. on Interstate 25 SB near Lomas Boulevard NE. Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision. Local authorities and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The number and severity of resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. 

The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital for further aid. No updates on the accident have been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
