Albuquerque, NM - Man Dies in Pedestrian Crash at Coors Blvd & Gonzales Rd

Albuquerque, NM (August 31, 2024) - An early morning crash on Friday, August 30, resulted in the death of a pedestrian in the Albuquerque area. Local reports indicated that the accident took place in the southeast area of the city at the corner of Coors Boulevard and Gonzales Road at around 5 a.m. It was later revealed that a man was trying to cross the intersection when he was hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene after being notified of a serious pedestrian accident. The injured party sustained fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the identity of the deceased victim has not been provided. The area was closed for several hours while local authorities worked the scene. The factors contributing to the crash have not yet been determined.
