Albuquerque, NM - Motorcycle Injury Crash at San Pedro Dr & Zuni Rd

Albuquerque, NM (March 13, 2024) - On Tuesday, March 12, a motorcycle accident in the Albuquerque area resulted in injuries. The collision was reported at the corner of San Pedro Drive and Zuni Road late that night. Local reports revealed that a gold Nissan Armada and a motorcycle collided at the scene. 

The driver of the Nissan was stopped at the intersection as a motorcyclist was traveling southbound. The driver thought the lane was clear and entered the intersection where it was hit by the oncoming rider. The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and hit a Mercury sedan. 

The injured motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with a serious brain injury. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No further updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
