Albuquerque, NM – One Killed, Another Hurt in Two-Car Accident on Claremont Ave near Phoenix Ave

Albuquerque, NM (October 1, 2023) – On Tuesday night, September 26, a fatal car accident was reported to police in Albuquerque. Reports show the incident took one life and injured another. 

Several responders went to the scene on Claremont Avenue near Phoenix Avenue after receiving several calls. Two vehicles crashed in the area under circumstances currently unknown. 

Paramedics arrived and pronounced one person deceased on-site due to the severity of their injuries. Additionally, the other driver was sent to the hospital due to the severity of their wounds. 

Police are working to figure out how the accident occurred. The victims have not been identified at this time.
