Albuquerque, NM – One Killed in Collision at Coors Blvd & Bluewater Rd

Albuquerque, NM (May 20, 2025) – One person died following a two-vehicle collision in the Albuquerque area on Saturday, May 17. The fatal accident took place at the corner of Coors Boulevard  NW and Bluewater Road NW that afternoon. Local reports revealed that a gold Toyota Solara was traveling south on Coors Boulevard turning left at the intersection when it collided with a silver Ford Explorer entering the crossroads.

The Ford crashed into the passenger’s side of the Toyota. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to assist the involved parties. Despite life-saving aid from attending medical personnel, a passenger in the Toyota suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers and a passenger in the Ford were rushed to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
