Speeding is known to be a significant contributing factor in serious car accidents. New Mexico drivers are known to habitually speed when traveling on the road. In fact, statistics show that more than 37 percent of deadly collisions in the state are caused by speeding motorists. In the past twenty years, speeding has been involved in more than one-third of reported roadway deaths across the country, with more than 10,000 people dying in high-speed crashes each year. Drivers who speed are less able to react to roadway hazards and control their vehicles in order to avoid life-changing car crashes.
No matter how safe of a driver you may be, there is little stopping a speeding driver from crashing into your car and leaving you with serious injuries. This is a reality for many residents of New Mexico. Hundreds are killed in car accidents each year in the state, with thousands more being injured, and you need to be ready to defend your legal rights if you or someone close to you is unfairly hurt in the aftermath of a severe collision. The steps you take immediately after the incident can shape the rest of your life. It is always in your best interest to consult a trained attorney who will be able to give you much-needed legal guidance to strengthen your claim and pursue the highest settlement possible.
There is too much on the line to leave your recovery to chance. The insurer will try to take advantage of you during this difficult time, and that means trying to pressure you to accept a settlement that is not enough to cover the full extent of your damages. The legal team at Will Ferguson & Associates will be there at every step of the claims process to make sure that you can achieve a complete recovery.
