Albuquerque, NM – Pedestrian Dies in Crash at Coors & Irving Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (August 9, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area on Monday, August 7. The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Coors Boulevard and Irving Boulevard late that night. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene after being notified of a serious pedestrian-vehicle accident. 

It was later revealed that a black Mercedes-Benz was traveling southbound on Coors as the pedestrian was attempting to cross northbound. The victim was struck by the oncoming vehicle. Despite life-saving measures from attending medical personnel, the injured party suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased party has not been disclosed. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
