Albuquerque, NM – Pedestrian Dies in Crash at I-25 & Rio Bravo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (March 18, 2024) – On Friday, March 15, there were fatal injuries after a pedestrian crash in Albuquerque. The deadly accident took place on Interstate 25 SB near Rio Bravo Boulevard late that evening. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched after being notified of a pedestrian-vehicle accident. 

The victim was traveling on foot along the highway when they were struck by an oncoming motor vehicle. The injured party was treated at the scene by attending paramedics. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian was pronounced dead. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present.
