Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Dies in Hit-&-Run at 4th St & Guadalupe Trl

Albuquerque, NM (January 25, 2024) - On Wednesday, January 24, a pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run in Albuquerque. The fatal crash occurred at the crossing of 4th Street and Guadalupe Trail late that night at around 7:30 p.m. The victim was traveling on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

The at-fault driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured party. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene. 

The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Local authorities are currently seeking information regarding the at-fault driver and suspect vehicle.
