Albuquerque, NM – Pedestrian Dies in Hit-&-Run at Central Ave & Rhode Island St
Albuquerque, NM (October 11, 2023) – On Wednesday morning, October 11, a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in Albuquerque.
The deadly crash was reported at the intersection of Central Avenue SE and Rhode Island Street SE near the time of 6:17 a.m. The victim was traveling on the roadway when they were hit by an oncoming driver. The suspect motorist fled the scene without rendering aid.
The injured party was later pronounced dead at the scene by attending emergency units. The make and model of the vehicle involved is currently unknown. Authorities are currently seeking additional information about the at-fault driver.
