Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Fatally Hit at I-25 & Jefferson St

Albuquerque, NM (June 9, 2023) - A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motor vehicle in Albuquerque on Thursday, June 8. 

The fatal accident took place on Interstate 25 NB near Jefferson Street at around 5 p.m. A pedestrian was traveling on the highway when they were hit by an oncoming motorist. Emergency responders were sent to the scene to render aid to the crash victim. 

The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the fatal crash is underway.
