Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Hurt in Crash at Coors Blvd & La Orilla Rd

Albuquerque, NM (April 12, 2025) - On Friday, April 11, a pedestrian was hurt after a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The incident took place at the corner of Coors Boulevard NW and La Orilla Road NW late that night at around 8:25 p.m. Local reports revealed that the victim was on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid at the scene. Responding officials located the victim with serious injuries. They were rushed by ambulance to the University of New Mexico Hospital for treatment. It is currently unknown if the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with responding authorities. The area was temporarily closed while emergency units were present. No further information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
