Albuquerque, NM - Pileup Crash with Injuries at Central Ave & Tingley Dr

Albuquerque, NM (March 29, 2025) - On Friday, March 28, there were reported injuries resulting from a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision took place that afternoon at around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Central Avenue and Tingley Drive. Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, which resulted in a fire. 

Attending medical personnel treated the injured parties at the scene. There were confirmed injuries at the scene. None of the victims were transported to a hospital for additional support. One vehicle was a total loss, and others sustained damage. The number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. No updates on the conditions of the crash victims have been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the crash site and reopen the road to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
