Albuquerque, NM – San Mateo Blvd NE Crash Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (October 28, 2023) – Firefighters with the Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the scene of a crash that occurred in the Albuquerque area that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.

At around 5:30 p.m. on October 27, the police were notified that a crash took place on San Mateo Boulevard Northeast.

Preliminary investigations show that vehicles collided in the 5200 block of the roadway. The incident blocked multiple lanes, causing disruptions throughout the area.

Emergency medical services were requested on-site to treat victims and transport them to local hospitals.

The Albuquerque Police Department is currently investigating to determine what caused the crash to take place.
