Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injuries in Crash at Candelaria Rd & Carol St

Albuquerque, NM (January 27, 2025) – There were confirmed injuries after a multi-vehicle accident in the Albuquerque area on Sunday, January 26. The accident occurred at around 4:59 p.m. at the corner of Candelaria Road NE and Carol Street NE. Emergency crews were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

At least one person involved in the crash suffered injuries. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been reported. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for additional support. The area was temporarily shut down while emergency responders were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No additional information on the accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
