Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injuries in Wreck at Fifth St & Tijeras Ave

Albuquerque, NM (December 22, 2024) – On Sunday, December 22, at least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. That morning, around 2:38 a.m., the accident was first reported at the crossing of Fifth Street NW and Tijeras Avenue NW. The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics before being transferred to local hospitals for further aid. 

The roadway was closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were later needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic.
