Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injuries in Wreck at PanAm Fwy & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (September 24, 2024) – On Monday, September 23, a serious car crash in the Albuquerque area required support from local paramedics. The collision happened at around 10:54 p.m. near the crossing of Pan American Freeway NE and San Mateo Boulevard NE. At least one person involved in the crash suffered injuries, and the crash victims were quickly treated by attending paramedics. 

The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed at this time. The crash victims were later transferred to local hospitals after being treated by attending paramedics. The roadway was temporarily closed as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and reopen the road to outside traffic.
