Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injury Car Wreck at I-25 & Gibson Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (November 7, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a car accident in the Albuquerque area on Monday, November 6. 

At around 7:44 p.m., the crash was first reported on Interstate 25 NB near Gibson Boulevard SE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and paramedics were present to render the necessary medical aid. Ambulances were used to transport the injured parties to a local hospital for additional treatment. 

The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were used to clear the road of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. 

No further information on the collision has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
