New Mexico Car Crashes
We are all aware of how hard it can be to be a driver in New Mexico, and statistics show that the state has some of the worst drivers in the nation. Every 12 minutes on average, an automobile accident is reported somewhere in the state. The fact that someone is injured in a collision approximately every 26 minutes is a more striking figure. While New Mexico drivers are the worst in the country, Albuquerque drivers are some of the worst in the state, and Bernalillo County has the most collisions of any county. Less than 1 percent of road accidents result in fatalities, but about one-third of them cause injuries of some kind.
The risk of a serious car crash is always present when traveling in New Mexico, and it is well-known how dangerous the state’s roads can be. Your entire life can be changed in a matter of seconds when you are hurt by a reckless driver, and the resulting damages can seem impossible to handle for those who are unprepared. Even the most stable individuals are unable to deal with the economic losses that often follow a car accident, and it can seem impossible to get the compensation you are owed.
Most crash victims do not have experience in the law, and this means that they do not know how to pursue compensation for their injuries and other damages. You need to consult with a trusted attorney who will be able to give you the legal advice necessary for a successful personal injury claim. This is often the only way to ensure that you are able to make a complete recovery.
