Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injury Collision at Central Ave & Indiana St

Albuquerque, NM (June 26, 2024) – At least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Wednesday, June 26. Early that morning around 3:41 a.m., the collision was reported at the intersection of Central Avenue NE and Indiana Street SE. The extent and number of the related injuries have not yet been determined. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to aid the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed at this time. The area was temporarily closed while paramedics and local authorities were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No further information on the crash is currently available. However, local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the wreck.
